Siemens Government Technologies, Inc. (SGT) is seeking an individual for a position as a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for monthly consolidated financial reporting in Siemens Global Reporting system. This key position will be located in Reston, VA and will report to the Automation and Service Controller and will be responsible for the coordination of monthly and quarterly results with Siemens Corporate stakeholders and business leaders.

  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management

Required Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years accounting/finance experience
  • Oracle, SAP or other big ERP system knowledge
  • Must have ability to work overtime in peak times
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Position Responsibilities And Duties

  • Ownership of financial reporting into Siemens Global Reporting systems
  • Perform month-end activities in conjunction with corporate calendar
  • Ensure financial reports are completed within the calendar deadlines
  • Consolidation of financials for 3 different sites
  • Report on Bookings, Backlog and headcount
  • Assist in the coordination of annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with Siemens Corporate Accounting Policy
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation
  • Special Projects and/or request from internal management reporting
  • Serve as a financial reporting resource to the Controller and CFO
  • Support Internal Controls compliance for financial reporting activities

Candidate must be US Citizen and have ability to obtain a DOD security clearance, if later required.
