The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) in Beirut, Lebanon invites applications for two software laboratory instructor positions, starting September 2019. Applicants should possess a Bachelor degree or higher in computer science or related field. For Bachelor degree holders (BS or BE), at least two years of programming experience are required.
Applicants should have a solid background in computer science and an expert knowledge in at least two out of the following programming languages and supporting libraries: Python, C/C++, and Java. Knowledge of scripting languages such as shell scripts, JavaScript, Ruby, and R is a plus. Applicants must have good communication skills. The candidates are expected to conduct software lab sessions associated with undergraduate computer science courses under direct supervision of course instructors.
