DESCRIPTION

Penn State Law and the School of International Affairs seek an Administrative Support Assistant (Development and Alumni Relations Assistant) to support development, stewardship, and alumni relations activity. This position will play an active role in supporting and coordinating activities that include: calendar support for the Director of Development and Alumni Relations; arranging travel; preparing and processing financial forms and travel expenses; assisting with planning and implementing donor and alumni events; managing the proposal and guidelines process in AWA and other related tasks. This position requires learning a number of University systems including eDDs, eSteward, ERS, and Lotus Notes and interfacing with a number of central support offices. Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate must possess exemplary interpersonal skills and demonstrate a genuine appreciation in working with diverse audiences.
