The Hariri School of Nursing (HSON) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) launched the PhD program in the Fall 2018-19 semester and is seeking applications from nursing faculty with strong research and clinical expertise in particular in the area of chronic illness.AUB, founded in 1866 as the first American University abroad, continues to attract extraordinary students and to provide education following the American model. HSON, founded in 1905, was the first nursing school in the Middle East.
