Desired Experience and Qualifications:
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Project Engineer to provide comprehensive support to staff Project Managers throughout the company. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or construction management and must have 2-5 years of practical experience in construction and/or design fields. Strong computer skills are a prerequisite including all applications within MS Office (with proficiency in Excel), Adobe Pro, Bluebeam and MS Project. Vertical construction experience is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.
Must be able to perform customary project engineering duties which may include: coordination of design and other consultants; development and negotiation of design contracts; review of plans for value engineering and constructability issues; development and continued management of estimates (including quantity take-offs), schedules, and budgets; coordination with client on project related matters; management of design consultant or other consultant accounts including payment application processing and management; and other customary overall construction management functions at the direction of the supervising project manager.
