Established in 1974, San Dieguito Engineering (SDE) is an award-winning civil engineering firm located in Solana Beach and specializing in private and public civil engineering and utility projects. We are looking to hire a full-time Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experienceemphasizing hydrology and hydraulics and stormwater specialties.
Required Skills / Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
California PE or ability to attain in 1 year
5 years of professional civil engineering experience
QSD / QSP Certification
Proficient in AutoCAD/C3D in preparing grading and improvement plans
Proficient in preparing drainage studies and hydrology and hydraulic modeling utilities (AES, FlowMaster, and StormCAD)
Proficient in preparing Stormwater quality management plans for large or small projects and is knowledgeable of the requirements in the SWRCB Program 9
Experience with SCCWRP and SWMM analysis is preferred
Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
