Responsibilities:

Works with the EHS Manager and Operations team to continue to maintain a strong air compliance program.

Develop and submit environmental reports.

Title V compliance and permitting experience.

Interacts with all levels of the organization and upholds a positive environmental work atmosphere.

Communicates and initiates improvements based on trends in audit findings, corrective actions, and best practices.

Maintains training records & updates training materials.

Assists in updating Standard Operating Procedures for facility compliance with the major regulatory programs.

Provides audit activity support to the EHS Manager.

Provides support to the EHS Manager for the management of waste material program.

Provides guidance and technical expertise to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Performs all other duties as assigned to support the EHS Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field required.

3+ years of air permitting experience

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

Good working knowledge of EPA and TCEQ regulations.

Strong air permitting and tracking experience.

Experience navigating Steers and data entry.

5+ years of experience in environmental practices in a chemical manufacturing setting.

Experience leading training and development initiatives in the field of Environment, Health, or Safety.

Experience in project leadership.

Six-Sigma experience.
