A unique opportunity to join the Department of Computer Science and Networking at Wentworth Institute of Technology in the heart of downtown Boston as they invite applications for four Assistant Professorships beginning August 31, 2017.

The Department of Computer Science and Networking consists of 14 faculty members and offers programs in Computer Science and Computer Networking. A bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems is offered in conjunction with the Department of Business Management.

The Department also offers a fully online M.S. program in Applied Computer Science. The Department has teaching and research strengths in algorithms, databases, machine learning, networking, operating systems, programming languages and formal methods, software engineering, and mobile/web application development. In addition, members of the Department have close collaborative relationships with faculty in applied mathematics, sciences, and electrical and computer engineering, among many others.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related discipline
  • Teaching experience at the university level
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computing practice, concepts, and theory
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree
  • Particular attention will be given to candidates with a background in cybersecurity, networking, systems, or computational science, although candidates with any computational background are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
