3Ci is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a contract to hire position in Norcross, GA. The Project Manager plans, directs and coordinates activities on all sizes of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager has overall responsibility for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Takes small, medium and large projects from original concept through final implementation and interfaces with all areas affected by the project including supporting business units and IT departments.
  • Documents project scope and objectives; develops detailed project plans, estimates and resource plans.
  • Effectively manages identification and resolution of issues and mitigation of risks throughout the project.
  • Effectively manage all scope change requests made during the project according to the scope change management process.
  • Communicates timely reports on project status and promptly escalates issues.
  • Ensures stakeholder expectations are aligned with project plans.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Tracks progress against the project plan, including timely, quality completion of all deliverables.
  • Effectively applies interpersonal and leadership skills to motivate the project team in a matrix environment.
  • Manages multiple projects concurrently.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of IT standards, processes and project life cycle methodologies.
  • Serves as an advocate throughout IT to communicate PMO processes and tools.

Project Manager Minimum Qualifications (include education, experience, special skills):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years managing projects specifically software implementations preferably with consulting project management experience.
  • Experience with project management principles especially in areas of project schedules, risks, metrics, cost-benefit analysis, business analysis, requirements definition, testing and implementation.
  • Leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and communications skills required.
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is a plus.
