American University of Sharjah (www.aus.edu) seeks PhD holders in chemistry to serve as adjunct faculty in the Department of Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Sciences (BCE) for Fall 2019. The successful candidate will be required to instruct mainly general chemistry courses to non-majors. The successful candidate will have a PhD in chemistry with preference given to individuals with an established record teaching in a North American style, liberal arts environment.
The department offers bachelor’s degrees in biology, chemistry and environmental sciences and minors in biology, environmental sciences and environmental policy. The department currently has 16 full-time faculty members actively engaged in research in diverse areas within the three disciplines.
