ccess Intelligence is seeking a Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing plans across several brands in our Aerospace group, as well as serve as the lead on operations for various events within the department. Responsibilities include attendee revenue generation of meeting or exceeding budget through email marketing and direct mail as well as e-marketing tasks such as SEO and SEM campaigns, Google AdWords, social media marketing, and more. Other expected duties include list acquisition, brand management, marcom, sales support and management of the Sales and Marketing Assistant.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EVENTS 

  • Events include Rotorcraft Technology Summit, Global Connected Aircraft Summit, Avionics for NextGen, sponsored live events, and any other events that the group launches
  • Work with Marketing Assistant on operations, logistics, speaker management for assigned events
  • Onsite registration, logistics and operations support at live events
  • Set up and management of registration system – be the main point of contact and provide customer service support for clients
  • Execute marketing plans and schedules on time and within budgets and provide analysis on results
  • Outreach to secure partnerships and media exchanges for each event and fulfill agreements
  • Complete list research and secure new lists/prospects for attendee marketing
  • Meet and exceed revenue goals for each event
  • Report on revenue and expenses in monthly financials meetings
  • Logistics, including creating and continually updating operations timelines, managing signage, and working directly with A/V teams for onsite needs.
  • Sponsorship fulfillment, including vendor management, fulfillment tracking, and communication with sponsors.
  • On-site management, including move-in and move-out oversight, prep, and distribution of on-site manuals, management of on-site services/vendors, registration setup, and on-site schedule and budget management
  • Compilation of Post Show reports to recap event and create benchmarks
  • Vendor, speaker and volunteer management in conjunction with Marketing team
  • Conducting site selections and inspections for events in conjunction with Sales teams.

MARKETING 

· Develop and execute marketing plans for all paid products, including special reports, webinars, directories and other product launches as deemed appropriate

· Meet and exceed revenue goals for each product as assigned

· Management of Marketing Assistant

o Establish clear goals for meeting or exceeding attendee revenue budget expectations for the Marketing Assistant on shows.

o Create processes for management of the Assistant’s duties and completion of marketing plans for events that the coordinator is assigned.

o Ensure Assistant is executing marketing plan, keeping project status of results/ROI of campaigns, complete training on various programs/platforms.

o Schedule weekly check-in meetings with Assistant. Support Assistant’s other duties as assigned such as marcom responsibility, sponsored webinar marketing etc.

· Develop comprehensive list acquisition and marketing partnerships

· Copy writing for direct mail, email marketing campaigns, media kits, paid products and other marketing communication efforts as assigned

· Develop marketing plans for website optimization and social media efforts across three major brands in the aviation and satellite space

· Oversee coordination of all direct mail campaigns, email campaigns, SEM efforts and SEO efforts

· Write copy for any sales supporting materials, including prospectus and one sheet flyers

· Oversee email coordination, including approving proofs of emails

· Oversee public relations campaign, writing press releases when necessary

· Report and analyze data; Write post show analysis of event campaign for smaller events

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Four-year degree in Marketing, Communications or other relevant field or commensurate experience

· 3-5 years of relevant event marketing and operations experience

· At least one year of management experience

· Basic knowledge of html, database management software, data analysis software, Photoshop or equivalent design software

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office

· Excellent organizational skills and ability manage several projects at once

· Team player, ability to thrive in fast-paced environment

· Excellent written and oral communications skills

· Ability to think strategcally and creatively
