The second theme of his research is "Reliability"
of Mathematical Modeling: Verification and Validation, Uncertainty
Quantification (VVUQ) in computational mechanics. All the above techniques are
used for modeling flow and transport phenomena in natural aquatic bodies;
scaler, passive, active, reactive, multi-domain, multi-phase transport of
sediment particles, colloidal particles, air-bubble, heat and bio/chemical
constituents.
Dr. Kaveh Zamani is a research scientist at the University
of New South Wales and his main research synopses are mathematical modeling:
numerical scheme development/optimization, computational modeling, HPC, and
analytical solutions. Therein, he mostly stays at continuum scale but he has
done particle modeling.
